Although this isn’t a list, it’s still worth breaking down!
Found this in the street, in front of the house.

Poor Joan Brown.  Do you think she needed her glasses to find her glasses?

Were the glasses found on the terrace while picking up empty glasses the morning following the “The Case of the Missing Glasses” evening? 

The glasses were not in the street with the note. 

That renegade Joan retrieved the glasses, peeled out of some nearby driveway, flung the thoughtful note out her car window and drove away in shame due to her confusion/inebriation during the evening before.
​The name is weirdly bland.  Is Joan Brown an alias?

Did someone leave the glasses and note at the nearby bar?  Was there a one-night stand and the glasses were left behind but no call back number?  Did someone drop Joan’s glasses off at the initial place of contact?  Were they hoping that Joan would return?  This was dated way back in June.  Someone’s hopes of a summer fling?  Why is Joan toying with someone’s emotions like this?!

I looked for burnt rubber tire tracks and found none.  She must have wanted to sneak away.  Get on with her summer without balding her tires.  Smart.
